Added HS Baseball game at Calhan on Friday April 28th

Rescheduled MS Track Meet (Limon Invitational) April 27th

HS Baseball vs. Swink has been moved from April 6th to May 2nd. Varsity will start at 4:30.

List of IMPORTANT Upcoming Dates & Events for the 16-17 School Year

Wednesday, April 26th - High School Academic Awards Banquet at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria & WMC

Friday, April 28th – Middle School Cotillion from 7 pm – 10 pm in the cafeteria

Sunday, April 30th – Senior Progressive Dinner

Sunday, April 30th & Monday, May 1st – FFA State CDE’s in Fort Collins

Monday, May 1st – Elementary Honor Band involving 5th and 6th grades

Monday, May 1st - All Middle School Academic/Athletic Awards LISTS must be turned in to Cass by 4 pm.  These lists must include any & all students you plan to give awards to.  This is for grades 6 – 8.  Invitations will be mailed out.

Wednesday, May 3rd – Mock Crash in Hugo at the fairgrounds for high school students 8:30 am – 12:00 pm

Wednesday, May 3rd – Middle School NJHS Induction Ceremony in the WMC at 12:15 pm

Thursday, May 4th – Middle School Environment Day all day (grades 6 – 8 only)

Saturday, May 6th – Junior/Senior Grand March and Prom beginning at 4:00 pm in the Warren Mitchell Center then travel to Denver

Tuesday, May 9th  – High School Student Council Speeches & Elections in the WMC 9:30 – 10:30 am.  (8th grade students will be involved in this.) 

Wednesday, May 10th – IA fair (set –up evening of Tues. 5/9 & tear down on Thurs. 5/11 and awards ceremony will be at 11 am on 5/11)

Monday, May 15th- All Middle School Academic/Athletic AWARDS/CERTIFICATES must be turned into the Secondary office by 4 pm

Monday, May 15th – Graduation practice in the Activities Building from 1 – 3 pm (involving seniors, junior escorts,
high school band, and choir)

Sunday, May 21st  - Graduation in the Activities Building at 2 pm (Senior gift tables will be set up in the WMC)

Tuesday, May 23rd  - Elementary Track and Field Day

Tuesday, May 23rd  - High School L Club Banquet at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria & WMC

Wednesday, May 24th  – 8th grade last day of school

Wednesday, May 24th  - Middle School Award’s night at 6 pm with the 8th Grade Continuation Ceremony to follow in the Warren Mitchell Center

Thursday, May 25th – Last day of school (1/2 day for students)

Friday, May 26thAll grades are due – Teacher check-out day

Tuesday, June 13th - Friday, June 16th  – FFA State Convention in Pueblo, CO

 

May ???  TBA  – Seniors last day of school – Full Day

 

May ???  TBA  – All senior grades must be turned into Mrs. Bandy by 8 am
